Gospel reflection for the 5th Sunday of Easter:
Greeks had multiple words for love. Jesus commands us to love with Agape....but that doesn't mean merely imitating him, and white-knuckling our way to the cross, because Christian life # moralism.
It means participating in his divine LIFE. Loving with his very heart.
We have to live in that next-level love to be his witnesses to the world! When we do, we are a proof of his presence. When we don't, we repel.
Jesus help us to follow your command, which is impossible without your grace.
