Many today are confused about whether people can be saved through non-Christian religions. In this video, we look at what the Catholic Church has clearly taught on this matter—from the early Church Fathers, through the Scholastics, and into the modern Magisterium. We explain why salvation requires faith based on Divine Revelation, and why truth found in other religions does not give that saving faith. We also look at modern errors—especially the theories of Karl Rahner, Juan Martínez de Ripalda, and Michael Lofton—and why these theories contradict Catholic teaching.
