Pope Leo celebrated Christmas morning Mass in St Peter’s Basilica, becoming the first pope to do so since Pope St. John Paul II more than thirty years ago. His Holiness highlighted that the infant Christ’s “‘flesh’ is the radical nakedness that, in Bethlehem as on Calvary, remains without words – just as so many brothers and sisters, stripped of their dignity and reduced to silence, have no words today.”
