The Rosary is a pilgrimage — one of mind, heart, and soul.

In this month's novena reflection, Fr. Philip-Neri Reese, O.P. explores what it means to enter into the mysteries of the Rosary. It is more than moving from one decade to the next. Our minds move from a concrete truth about Christ's life, to a universal truth about God's love, and back to something deeply personal. Our hearts are drawn out of themselves toward the goodness we contemplate. And the more we are illumined by truth and inflamed with love, the more we are conformed to Christ.

This is the eighth reflection in our nine-month novena in preparation for the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, September 26, 2026, at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC.
