There’s a reason why dystopias always have cold, blue-white lighting. That lifeless, flat, over-lit look is taking over our world from stores to schools to fashion magazines--but it wasn’t always like this. We once had beautiful street lighting, warm home interiors and an all around more human lighting to our world that was human and beautiful. Lighting is what shapes beauty but the ubiquitous fluorescence of lighting now erases and bleaches it.
