In today’s video I talk through the difficulty of being a Christian. In the face of evil what is our duty? How do we protect our hearts from hate, and a desire for vengeance? The government is God’s instrument for the punishment of evil and our individual duty as Christians, is to look at the cross of Jesus, who in the face of unimaginable evil, cried out, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Desiring the punishment of evil by those who have the authority to do so and having a heart of forgiveness are not at odds. The desire for the righteous is justice, and one day Christ will make all things right.
