A message lands at midnight from the person you trust most, telling you nobody will ever know. That voice is old. This video looks at five women in Scripture who spoke that way to the person closest to them, from Eve in the garden to a wife named Sapphira who never raised her voice at all.
We walk through Eve and Adam in Genesis 3, Jezebel's scheme to steal Naboth's vineyard in 1 Kings 21, Delilah's slow wearing down of Samson in Judges 16, Herodias's grudge against John the Baptist in Mark 6, and the quiet shared lie of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5. We also look at the other side of the coin, Pilate's wife trying to warn her husband away from injustice, and Priscilla and Aquila, a couple who corrected a preacher together instead of competing with him.
This isn't a video claiming to know where any of these people ended up. Scripture doesn't tell us that, and neither do we. It's an honest look at the voice each of us carries into the life of the person we love most, and whether it points toward God or away from him.
