Is there hope for the Church?

Bishop Athanasius Schneider acknowledges confusion, darkness and a lack of clarity in Rome.

But he reminds Catholics that this isn't the first crisis in Church history.

There were the Dark Ages.

There was the Avignon exile.

There were times of spiritual desolation.

And yet the Church endured.

Because the Church does not belong to popes, bishops, or any age.

It belongs to Christ.
