If the usual sex scandals in the church are well covered up then the trying to find the old definition and purpose for sex and marriage will plumb new depths. Poor old sex; passed from pillar to pope. It's gone through more facelifts, makeovers and reinventions than an ageing celeb.
Released by Holy mother church from blissful harth and home, where it enjoyed a very solid definition, into the word salad of modernity's most amorphous concepts, it wonders the wasteland of human relationships, more forlorn than Heathcliff, more mis-spent than youth. All the while the one thing it truly excelled in are now in massive decline. Babies.
Can rediscovering the past help solve the present? Why did the Church in it's wisdom change the small print on sex and marriage and have we benefitted or do the changes just need a little more time?
This is the first of what will be a series of interviews to discover what changed and why when it comes to the Catholic outlook on sex and marriage.
Today's guest is Theo Howard. The first person in the UK I saw talking about this.
He produces a channel called the Two Cities.
Very popular with clever people.
