As the conclave approaches, the city of Rome is intensifying its security measures. EWTN gets an exclusive look at how the Italian police are preparing for the historic event, with heightened checks across the city, including the Tiber River, air patrols, and metal detectors around St. Peter's Square. Police will divide the area into three surveillance zones, ensuring a secure environment for the conclave. Chief Assistant Coordinator Giovanni Bigioni and Chief Commissioner Marco Piccione explain the increased presence and efforts to prevent security breaches. With additional police deployed 24/7, the force is prepared for any situation as they work to protect both the safety and the spirit of the Jubilee Year. EWTN Vatican journalist Valentina Di Donato has more.
