On Sunday, September 14th, after presiding over the Commemoration of the Martyrs and Witnesses of the Faith at St. Paul’s Basilica, Pope Leo XIV joined the Cardinals for a joyful celebration on the occasion of his 70th birthday, cutting a cake and raising a toast.
He recalled his lifelong “yes” to God’s will, as those present sang “Happy Birthday.”
