Muslims often argue that the Qur’an confirms the Gospel (Injil) but claim that the real version of it has been lost or corrupted. But what did 7th-century Arabians actually understand the Injil to be when Muhammad told them to “judge by the Gospel” (Surah 5:47)?
In this video, we dive into the Islamic dilemma: the Qur’an commands people to follow the Injil, yet the Gospel available in Muhammad’s time — the Syriac Peshitta — clearly teaches truths that contradict Islam. This text proclaims Jesus as the eternal Word of God, the Son of God, and records His crucifixion and resurrection — all of which the Qur’an denies.
We’ll look at:
What the Qur’an says about the Torah and the Gospel
Why Surah 5:47 and Surah 2:85 prove Muslims had the Gospel in Muhammad’s time
How the Peshitta manuscripts show what Arabian Christians read in the 7th century
Direct contradictions between the Qur’an and the Injil (John 1, John 19)
Why this leaves Muslims with no way out: accept the Injil and reject the Qur’an, or reject the Injil and still reject the Qur’an
This is the heart of the Qur’an vs. Bible debate. If the Qur’an confirms the Gospel, then Muslims must take the Gospel seriously — but doing so proves Islam false.
👉 Watch until the end to see how this historical evidence exposes a fatal contradiction.
