St. Christopher is one of the most beloved saints in the history of the Catholic Church—but how much do you really know about him?

In this sermon we explore the traditional story of the giant known as Reprobus, a pagan who searched tirelessly for the greatest master to serve. After serving a king, seeking the devil himself, and finally discovering Christ through a holy hermit, his life was transformed forever. His encounter with the Christ Child while carrying travelers across a dangerous river gave him the name Christopher, meaning "Christ Bearer."

More than simply recounting a famous legend, this homily challenges every Christian to ask a profound question:

Who is the true master of my life?

Money?
Comfort?
Power?
Pleasure?
The opinions of others?
Or Jesus Christ?
