One thing we want other families to know is that a Down syndrome diagnosis can come with some extra medical care, but most days are beautifully normal.

Sometimes there are appointments, procedures, and even surgeries along the way—and you will through them. It's worth it.

Our Adelaide will soon be having surgery to repair her VSD. We’re nervous, hopeful, and so grateful to God for granting us the opportunity to be her parents. If you’re a parent facing something similar, know that you can do this too. One day, one appointment, one step at a time. We'd appreciate any stories you may have if you've been through a VSD repair.
