I recently debated @RulesForRetrogrades on the Church's current teaching that the death penalty is inadmissible. Timothy Gordon was arguing against the current teaching and claimed that it is contrary to how the church handled capital punishment in the past. I defended the Church's current teaching. It got heated at times, but we were both cordial for the most part.
