It’s Sunday. And before we walk into church asking, “What will I get out of this?” we should remember why we’re going.

The Holy Mass is the unbloody sacrifice of Calvary made present. It is our participation in the Cross of Christ. It is worship.

We go to adore God.
We go to thank Him.
We go to ask forgiveness.
We go to beg for the grace we need.

The Mass is not about preference, style, or spectacle. It’s not about whether the music moves us or the homily inspires us. It’s about giving God what is due Him: adoration, contrition, thanksgiving, and supplication.

Sunday isn’t about consuming. It’s about offering.

Let’s enter Holy Mass with reverence, humility, and awe—because we are standing at Calvary.
