Matthew 18: 21 - 35

Jesus asks us not to keep count when we forgive, because he never keeps count of the mercy he shows us. He invites us to bring old wounds honestly to him, receive his pardon anew, and ask for the grace to forgive from the heart. Forgiveness may take time, but with Christ we can live at peace with the past and become instruments of his mercy.
