In this episode, I cover a verse from the Gospel of John (John 20:21-23) that greatly disturbed me as a protestant. Jesus literally gave the Apostles the authority to forgive or not forgive sins! I had no framework for understanding this as a protestant. In retrospect, I now see it as the beginning of my journey to the Catholic Church.
