God Himself is the Gospel | Sunday Homily

Fr. Cajetan Cuddy, O.P. reflects on Psalm 18 and the proclamation that God Himself is our strength, our refuge, and our salvation.
We often come to God seeking something from Him. But as we grow in holiness, God teaches us that He is more than the giver of the things we need. He Himself is our greatest good.
Even when our prayers seem unanswered, God is lovingly transforming our desires, inviting us to seek Him above all things.
The heart of the Christian life is not simply receiving what God gives, but receiving God Himself.
