This is one of the most extraordinary stories connected to Fulton J. Sheen. In 2010 a child was born during a planned home birth—but complications no one knew about changed everything. A knot in the umbilical cord had cut off oxygen & blood flow.
The baby was born with no heartbeat. No respiration. No visible signs of life. For over an hour, attempts were made to revive him.

Throughout the family prayed for the intercession of Fulton Sheen. The father performed an emergency baptism himself & gave the child the name “James Fulton.” Eventually, after 61 minutes, the child’s heartbeat returned.
