The surrogacy case of baby Gabriel has drawn national attention. Baby Gabriel was born in Texas to a surrogate and diagnosed with a rare heart condition. His biological parents sought to end the pregnancy following his diagnosis, but his surrogate refused. Gabriel is now receiving treatment for the serious heart condition while in the custody of his biological parents. Dr. Peter Morelli, New York State director of the Catholic Medical Association, joins to discuss how rare this condition is, what treatment entails, what the surgeries involve, and the survival rate for children who have undergone all three operations.
