A beautiful Marian moment closed Pope Leo XIV’s Mass in the Garden of the Little Madonna at Castel Gandolfo, as a mariachi band sang “María mírame” — “Mary, look upon me.”
Here is the English translation of María mírame:
“Mary, look upon me, Mary, look upon me.
If you look upon me, He too will look upon me.
My Mother, look upon me; take me by the hand.
Lead me very close to Him, for there I want to remain.
