Protestants bristle at the titles "Queen Mother" and "Queen of Heaven" for Mary. But why should they? Every time in the Old Testament the King of Judah acceeded to his reign, his mother was named as being with him. The same is true for Jesus -- the final King of Judah, and his mother, Mary, the final biblical Gebirah. So, we should expect the same kind of accession text for Jesus that we find for all the Kings of Judah... AND WE DO!
