Senate Republicans are moving full steam ahead with their probe into the alleged cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s reported mental decline while in the White House. At the first hearing, Republicans claimed Biden’s inner circle and the media hid his condition—undermining the U.S. Constitution. Democrats on the Judiciary Committee largely did not attend the hearing, with Ranking Member Senator Dick Durbin accusing Republicans of conducting a fishing expedition. Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer testified, blaming the media for failing the American people. Another witness also raised concerns over Biden’s use of an autopen to sign official documents.
