A victory for life in the unusual Republican gubernatorial primary in Kansas that pitted a pro-abortion candidate against one supported by Kansans for Life and Pres. Trump. Pro-lifer Ty Masterson wins with around 42% of the vote. Pro-abortion candidate Vicki Schmidt is set to finish third, with around 14%. Peter Northcott, executive director of Kansans for Life, says Masterson’s victory is good news on a night where a pro-life ballot initiative was defeated. Plus Church leaders in Florida ask the faithful to pray for an end to the death penalty, saying the state is embracing “a culture of death.” Amid a spike in human trafficking, one man brings best practices for protecting children to the young parents who frequent coffee shops and gyms.
