The readings for this Sunday give us a message of the importance of forgiveness.
Although the offenses done to us in this life may seem serious, they pale in comparison with the debt of sin we owe to God. Christ is truly so merciful to each of us, and our response as Christians to receiving His mercy is to be forgiving and merciful to each other.
