A Christian student at the University of Oklahoma was allegedly failed by transgender professor Mel Curtis for quoting two Bible verses in an assignment. When the student referenced behaviors the Bible identifies as sinful, the professor replied: “To call an entire group of people ‘demonic’ is highly offensive, especially a minoritized population.”
