What's the purpose of a Pope? What role does he serve? Does Christianity need a Pope? And what's the biblical and historical precedent for the papacy.

These, and many more questions, and examined in detail as we talk about the papacy and even the recent election of Pope Leo XIV. We get into the importance of the papacy for its unifying ability, the magisterium, the idea of apostolic succession, and the reality of the whole world coming together for the election of a new Pope – something that simply couldn't be accomplished in a Protestant system.
