Reports from New England say Pope Leo XIV has recognized the first miracle of his papacy, involving a newborn in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, in 2007. After the baby became unresponsive, a doctor reportedly invoked the name of 19th-century Spanish priest Salvador Valera Parra. According to the Diocese of Providence, the child made a sudden and complete recovery, showing no damage from oxygen deprivation. Michael O’Neill, award-winning author and host of The Miracle Hunter on EWTN Radio, joins to share more about the case, what is involved in validating a miracle, and what more we know about Salvador Valera Parra.
