Angel Colon is a survivor of the 2016 Pulse Nightclub tragedy, where 49 lives were lost and over 53 people were injured. Despite being shot multiple times and suffering a shattered femur, Angel miraculously survived. His recovery has been nothing short of remarkable, and he credits his strength and healing to the grace of God. What once seemed like an unbearable tragedy—his “mess”—has now become his powerful message. Rather than allowing bitterness or pain to define his life, Angel turned his story into a testimony of hope, forgiveness, and freedom.

Today, Angel travels across the country sharing that message. He equips leaders, young adults, and churches to lovingly welcome and minister to those who identify as LGBTQ. His mission is clear: to let the world know that true freedom is found in Jesus Christ.
