The Jeffrey Epstein case continues to dominate headlines. Epstein died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Now, GOP Congressman Thomas Massie and Democrat Ro Khanna are leading a bipartisan effort aimed at forcing the Justice Department, FBI, and other agencies to release case-related files to the public. Victims of Epstein’s abuse joined the two lawmakers at a Capitol Hill news conference, calling for the release of all files and demanding accountability for a cover-up. Just recently, the Justice Department has released over 33,000 documents to the House Oversight Committee, which Chairman James Comer confirmed are now available to the public and reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to providing transparency and accountability for the victims.
