Pope Leo began the second phase of his Apostolic Visit to Africa, bidding farewell to Algeria before continuing his journey to Cameroon. He met with the authorities, civil society, and the diplomatic corps, and spoke of how Cameroon still carries the memory of the visits made by his predecessors. In the days ahead, the Pope is expected to meet with local leaders, clergy, and faithful, focusing on themes of peace, reconciliation, and the enduring role of the Church across Africa. EWTN Vatican journalist Valentina Di Donato reports.
