A soon-to-be-released documentary dives into the ethical dilemmas families face with infertility. The film follows the first couple in the United States to adopt an embryo, a foster mom navigating the hope and heartbreak of embryo adoption, and an ‘IVF’ mom who now warns against the procedure. Neel Upadhye, the writer and director of the film, says he hopes this film turns couples away from in vitro fertilization and toward other ethical means of forming a family .
