Millions of people are on edge amid a forecast that includes high winds and dry conditions due to the wildfires in California. Officials are asking everyone to remain vigilant. The blazes have killed at least 25 people and destroyed thousands of homes. In anticipation of the high winds today, firefighters in unimpacted areas took precautions, including spraying billboards and land with water. A psychiatrist and Malibu resident, Dr. Carole Lieberman, had her house damaged during a wildfire in 2018 and she is still in the process of repairing it. As she has personally felt what being impacted by a fire is like, Dr. Carole tells us how she has dealt with this kind of loss. Thousands of people are still under evacuation warnings. Dr. Carole gives them some advice on how to deal with the anxiety they might be going through, knowing that there is a possibility they will have to leave everything behind. For those who have lost everything, Dr. Carole shares how they can face this traumatic experience and build back their lives physically and emotionally.
