A new, wide-ranging EWTN News and Real Clear Opinion Research poll reveals the views of U.S. Catholic voters on the Pope, politics, and key social issues. The survey found that 70% of Catholics have a favorable opinion of Pope Leo XIV, with just under 44% rating him “very favorable” and nearly 27% “somewhat favorable.” The poll also examined the favorability of President Trump, opinions on the detention and deportation of unauthorized immigrants, perspectives on in vitro fertilization (IVF), and belief in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Correspondent Mark Irons has more.
