DESCRIPTION
Catholics get asked about indulgences all the time — and almost nobody defines them correctly before attacking them. In this episode of Catholic Bible Highlights, Kenny Burchard and Dave Armstrong respond to @MatthewEverhard in his video (here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYrB4BEtTkU&t=8s ) and do what he never did: give the actual Catholic definition, then go straight to the Bible. From David and Nathan in 2 Samuel 12, to Moses and Miriam in Numbers, to Paul's church discipline in 1 and 2 Corinthians — the biblical foundation for temporal punishment and its removal is right there in black and white. Indulgences aren't a medieval invention. They are expressions of church discipline, rooted in Scripture, and administered through the authority Jesus gave his Church.
