At his General Audience, Pope Leo XIV reflected on the final cry of Jesus on the Cross.

Far from being a cry of despair, the Pope explained, it was an act of enduring trust, the voice of love given completely to the Father.

That cry still speaks today: reminding us that our own cries, when born out of love and offered to God, can become acts of faith and hope, even in the darkest moments.

“A cry is never pointless if it is born out of love and delivered to God.”
