Cardinal Cupich is being blasted for honoring pro-abort Catholic Sen. Dick Durbin with a "Lifetime Achievement Award" in November. Durbin has been banned in his home diocese, Springfield, IL, since 2004 for his extreme abortion voting record.

But Cdl. Cupich has welcomed him to Chicago with open arms, refusing to deny him the Eucharist, and going even farther, feting him with an award for his immigration work. Thousands have since weighed in publicly criticizing Cupich for his infidelity to Catholic teaching and policy.
