Pope Leo XIV is preparing for a multi-stop visit to Spain, highlighting the longstanding relationship between the country and the Holy See. The trip will include meetings with civil leaders, diplomats, and young people in Madrid, as well as a major Corpus Christi procession through the capital. In Barcelona, the pope will visit the iconic Sagrada Família Basilica and bless the newly completed Tower of Jesus Christ on the 100th anniversary of architect Antoni Gaudí’s death. Pope Leo will then travel to the Canary Islands, where he will meet with organizations working with migrants, the migrants themselves, and Church leaders.
