The Unpublished Drawings of Saint Carlo Acutis | A Leaf of Hope and Light

That’s how Saint Carlo Acutis once described his life — and it’s also the subject of one of his unpublished drawings, now revealed in a new book titled “Spiritual Insights” (Piemme Editions), written by Fr. Giovanni Emidio Palaia together with Antonia Salzano Acutis, Carlo’s mother. The book gathers reflections, notes, testimonies, and drawings produced by the young saint during his retreats in La Verna, where St. Francis once received the stigmata. There, Carlo deepened his love for the Eucharist, the Word of God, and the Rosary, inspired by the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
