This is National Vocation Awareness Week, an annual celebration of the Catholic Church in the US. It is also a time to learn more about the many forms of religious life, at least one of which can be pretty sweet. The Daughters of Mary of Nazareth were in South Carolina helping with the recovery from Hurricane Helene. Mother Olga of the Sacred Heart, founder and servant mother of the Daughters of Mary of Nazareth, joins to share what made them go there and how often they travel to help those in need. Mother Olga takes us through a typical day in her order. Mother Olga's vocation story is a little different; she is a native of Iraq, was raised in the Eastern Rite, and as a laywoman started a group that pushed for peace between Christians and Muslims. Mother Olga discusses what brought her to Boston and the Roman Catholic Church.
