A new report reveals that more than 30 Planned Parenthood facilities have announced closures so far this year. According to National Review Online, there have been 33 closures across multiple states, including six in California, four in Michigan, and three in Texas — among them, a major "mega center" in Houston. Planned Parenthood operated about 840 facilities in 2009–2010, but that number has dropped to around 600 as of 2023. Dr. Michael New, scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute, along with Kelsey Pritchard, Director of State Public Affairs at SBA Pro-Life America, join to break down the numbers, discuss the reasons behind the closures, and respond to abortion advocates who claim the closures are not significant because many women are receiving abortions via telehealth.
