After the Resurrection, the apostles are hiding in fear, confused and uncertain about what comes next. The doors are locked. Hope feels distant. And then—Jesus stands among them.
But instead of rebuke… instead of anger… He speaks peace.
What does this reveal about:
• The mercy of Christ
• The Sacrament of Confession (Reconciliation)
• The reality of fear, suffering, and spiritual darkness
• And the joy that no one can take from us
Drawing from the Gospel of John, this reflection connects the Resurrection, Divine Mercy Sunday, and the authority Jesus gives the apostles to forgive sins.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in a “locked room”—fear, confusion, grief, or uncertainty—this message is for you.
