On day 10 of the government shutdown, there is still no resolution in sight. Republicans are blaming Democrats for stalled services and harm to people and federal programs. However, some within the GOP are turning blame inward, criticizing their own leadership. Democrats say it's time for Republicans to get serious about reopening the government. However, House Speaker Mike Johnson says he won’t reconvene the House until Senate Democrats act—leaving no planned talks to end the shutdown.
