The Vatican has confirmed the excommunications of all bishops involved in the illicit consecrations carried out by the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) in Switzerland. The Vatican also warned that lay faithful who formally adhere to the SSPX are to be considered schismatics and excommunicated. EWTN News Senior Vatican Analyst Francis Rocca joins to explain what the decree from the Vatican means, how the Church defines formal adherence to the SSPX, and what Catholics who attend SSPX liturgies should know about this schism and what it means for them.
