There is real evil out there, but are we actually discerning it—or just living in fear?

John shares his story of growing up in a home where Christian rock was off-limits, responding to criticism of his own faith, and reaching people who might never step inside a church. He also opens up about the painful season that inspired Skillet’s new music and finding hope when God feels far away. This conversation made me laugh, challenged me, and reminded me why we cannot give up on bringing light into the darkness.
