Today, as we Americans celebrate our independence as a nation, we are also celebrating the historic election of Pope Leo XIV.

Not only is Pope Leo the first pope from the United States, but he's also the first from the Augustinian Order. As a "son of St. Augustine," Pope Leo is committed to the theology and spirituality of this great Latin Father and Doctor of the Church.
