Mark 4: 1 - 20

On the feast of St Thomas Aquinas, we read in the Gospel the parable of the sower. «A sower went out to sow. And some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. And some seed fell on rocky ground, where it had not much soil, and was scorched, and withered away. And other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain». Whatever seed is lost, there is still a good number of seed that «fell into good soil and brought forth grain, growing up and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold».

But the parable is not about the seed, but about the ground. Since, You, Jesus, say that the same seed was planted in the path, in rocky soil, among thorns or in good soil. It's everything about preparing the soil. And a good way of doing it is by spending 1% of the day reading the Bible and some spiritual book. If a day has 24 hours, that is 1,440 minutes. So, 1% of 1440 is… 14 minutes and 20 seconds.

That's all it takes. 1% - 14 minutes and 20 seconds a day to read the bible and some spiritual book.
