A lawsuit filed in Massachusetts claims that a Catholic student in Springfield College’s Physician Assistant program was dismissed after objecting to witnessing a procedure commonly used in late-term abortions. The student said she assumed she was going to observe a miscarriage and was “overwhelmed” at seeing an abortion. The student says after raising concerns in an evaluation, she was placed on academic probation and her OB-GYN rotation was listed as incomplete. Kristi Hamrick, Vice President of Media and Policy for Students for Life Action, shares more about the case and the allegations against Springfield College, and discusses whether it is common for physician assistant students to witness an abortion. She also discusses ways the group and other pro-life organizations are helping out here.
