When Lebanese monk Charbel Makhlouf died in 1898, he was buried in a muddy, unmarked grave. But what happened next baffled scientists for nearly a century:
For 45 days, a blinding, unexplained light radiated from his gravesite.
Fearing grave robbers, monks opened the tomb. Instead of a skeleton, they found Charbel’s body perfectly intact, flexible, and floating in mud.
For the next 67 years, his body continuously secreted a mysterious mixture of blood and sweat. It literally filled jars and ruined clothes, defying all biological laws.
In 1927 and 1950, medical experts examined him. His muscles were still soft, and his joints were fully pliable.
In 1965, during his beatification, the bleeding and sweating suddenly stopped. By the time his tomb was officially opened again in 1976, his body had finally undergone total natural decomposition, leaving only bones—exactly like a normal human.
Was it a 70-year miracle👇 Drop your thoughts below!
